The factory filter supplied with this setup is NOT an oiled K&N type filter.
It is the paper Harley filter and listed "Do Not Oil" in the installation instructions.

They do however have an K&N filter upgrade available for it.
Or just purchase the K&N element from any K&N dealer.

Edit:
I think the confusion is all because they seemed to have changed this.
The original Harley OEM filter for this was the "dry" type.

But now it looks like the only filter available is the K&N "oil" type.

So, it will depend on what type of filter element you have as to weather or not it requires oiling.
Very easy to tell them apart.
Either a dry paper looking filter, or the traditional K&N style gauze type.
The dry type does not get oiled.
The gauze type does.

I have the original filter I replace with a K&N after I bought and installed it this summer, it is a dry filter. No way I would chance putting oil on instead of just buying a K&N filter.
And no difference in performance, IMHO.

When you get a new CVO Harley with the Ventliator kit stock, or buy a brand new Ventilator kit, it comes with a dry do-not-oil type air filter with white media.

However if you buy a replacement from Harley, they only offer the oiled one we make for them. There is also a chance that the dealer installed the K&N version on the bike when it got there from HD anyways.

Easiest way to tell, the original filter will say DO NOT OIL on the outer rubber edge and has white media new. Whereas the K&N is red new.

Searched C095C4 and this was the first link that came up, seems to be the same filter you have:

Screamin' Eagle High-Flo K&N Air Filter Element 29400022A | Harley-Davidson USA

according to the notes section in the screenshot below that I snapped, seems to require reoil:

This could be a record. Someone dug up an 11 year old post and brought it back to life. Amazing

The filter in your picture, is the traditional K&N style gauze type.
So, it requires a lite coat of filter oil.

The paper OEM type filters do not require oil.

I had my dealer did a Stage 2 with some other mods day one on my 23 Street Glide 107 ( Before I drove it home ) He emailed me a picture and I questioned did he install the correct heavy breather with the K&N as the red color was so light I could go either way if it was white color or red, I wondered did he simply take the air cleaner off a 114 and put it on my bike? I can't figure out how to tell? My filter itself has no numbers and no K&N logo but has the Harley logo. I did oil it, can anyone tell from my pics and confirm that I have the proper K&N Harley heavy Breather needed for the Stage 2 or tell me what the difference from the stock oval 114 air intake and the oval heavy breather w/ K&N? ?
