I'm going to be deleting more chrome from my 2004 Road King Custom this winter. Rocker box covers, primary and derby, transmission covers, cam cover and a few little chrome accents still left on the bike. Most of the engine and tranny I will be using the VHT Wrinkle Black kit. The other parts are the headlight trim ring, spear on the nacelle, and the chrome covers by the docking points on the back I will be attempting to color match. I am not going for a dead on match here so I am taking the paint codes to napa and trying to get as close as i can with rattle cans. I know preparation is the biggest part but are there any other tips anyone has for me? The paint is a two stage Lava red so i hope it turns out decent.
