I have replaced my mirrors with the H-D "live to ride" chrome 91865-90T. My question is this.. Has anyone replaced the glass in this mirror so that they are concave to all a wider viewing area. I liked the mirror that came with the bike but I wanted the design that was on the back of the new but I am not happy with the limited view. It seems that I am constantly readjusting them to fix the ride...
You might be able to check with your local auto glass and mirror shop. I have had auto side mirrors replaced for the same reason. The actual mirror (glass) is just 3m tape stuck to the frame. They might be able to make a mirror that will fit your needs.
I had the same problem until I found a set of those two inch round adjustable convex mirrors at my local Advance Auto Parts store. Once installed this eliminated me not knowing what was coming up behind me. I suppose some people would not like these little mirrors stuck on your regular mirrors but I looked it purely as a safety issue so I tolerate them...
