Default Buy used and save on depreciation

I haven't bought a new bike in years. Would rather let the original owner take the depreciation hit on a new bike just riding it off the lot!

There are 2 ways to look at it -
1) If you got it, flaunt it
2) Some people have more money than sense

It's not for me and I don't judge others!

Same here. Don't think I'll ever again buy a new bike. The used market is loaded with clean, low mileage Harleys. And like you said there's initial, plus incidental charges for freight, prep, doc fees, etc. No thanks.

I too was at the dealer picking up parts and heard someone say the exact same thing about a StreetGlide Special.
