Default Deciding on Cam

After doing a little research I decided to purchase the Wood cam. Now trying to decide which one to get. Debating on the TW777,TW888, TW6-6 or the TW-7H. I need your advise.

go onto the Woods cam web site.... print out the dyno graphs with motor build u have.. print them out.. then look at RPM range where u like to ride most and this should help... do u like power spread out, do u want tq to ramp up quick ?
there are a lot of threads on Cams.. do a search... do u want top end speed or fast take offs ? do u want to lift ure front wheel from the ground ? do some homework... talk to the experts... Hillside and Fuelmoto are my choices... good luck.

Drop the TW6-6 from your list and go with the TW-555. That will be the best for what you have and will allow you to step up to a 103 or 107 later.

I replaced my andrews 48 after reading all of the reviews here in this forum with the TW222. I am not saying some couldn't tell the differance, but from the seat of the psnts comparison, I can't tell a bit of differance. If I were you I would save the money and get the andrews...if you have a 96. 103 might be different. Just my opinion.

The cams you listed for the most part like higher compression. I'd look real hard at the 222's if I were you. Either that or look into head work to help complement your cams. Last thing i would want in a bagger is a cam with a soft bottom end.

222 if you're dead-set on a Woods.

I have the 222s, and agree... More than this cam-wise would likely be wasted without other, significant mods in the head and compression area... Just sayin...
