I didn't know what was going on, but I'm sure it's possible cause I was watching for debris from recent construction. Anyway can't be getting anymore tickets, so I'm in need of a good detector to remind me.
I ran a detector on BMW LT for 2 years. The detector worked pretty well. I had the audio tied into the aux channel that I used to listen to XM radio. Even had a red warning light dead center of the instrument panel very close to the top. It was pretty good setup. Can't say it ever prevented me from getting a ticket. I do remember very well the day it warned me about 2 seconds before I spotted the Trooper coming around the bend from the opposite direction. Oh yea 73 in a 55. He reduced it to 70. For me between the wind noise, constantly scanning the road for hazards and listening to the occasional tunes my reaction time to an alert was always far slower than when I used one in my truck. Let's face it driving a car doesn't exactly overload your senses like riding a bike can. For me to get the most from a detector I'd have to devote too much attention to it and away from more important things. I didn't even both taking it off the bike when I sold it.
