factory(discounted) is 128 with free shipping and I have never had issues with their black or chrome.
maybe they are the exact ones, maybe same quality.

Probably the same vendor in China where Harley buys their stuff. Ever seen what a dealer actually pays for accessories ? You would not believe the markup.

I bought a knock off Sissy bar that was quick release. It was Junk! It would not easily fit. You had to fight with it and there was powder coating over the weld splatters that they did not remove before powdercoating. Needless to say I returned it. Bought the OEM HD stuff and it was smooth as butter.

I'm also looking at getting the backrest and detachable mount for my tour pak. I got a used tour pak off Ebay and it didn't come with any of the hardware. I can't imagine that the aftermarket stuff is that horrible...right? I only plan on using the tour pak a few times a year so any cash I can save the better right now. The Mutazu guy's stuff looks just like the MOCO options but I haven't heard anything negative about the stuff yet.

I have some Mutazu stuff. It is less expensive, and not nearly as well made. While good value, the Harley stuff is better.

I have one of their $100 tour packs. It works great for me, but no where near the quality that Harley puts out. It already has some stress cracks around where the luggage rack is mounted. Still works great, but the HD stuff is still much better.

I also have a Mutazu chrome luggage rack I put on top. It looks pretty good, and works well, however it not the quality chrome you get from HD.

Once Harley has done all the hard work of engineering and developing a product it is much less expensive for someone else to knock off a copy. They may even be just as good or better, but Harley is the one that upfronted all the costs to prove the product and bring it to market.

Sometimes even the plant that makes it for harley has people slip a bunch of them out the back door, and they show up on e-bay. Might even be the exact same product they are selling to generate some quick cash.

I guess anything worth doing is worth doing right. The detachable 2-up mount isn't that much more expensive at Harley and I know I can go back on them if the damn thing breaks. The backrest I'm just not that sure about spending a couple hundred bucks as compared to $100 from Mutazu. Would hate to get it and find out it is a POS and have to spend the MOCO moolah anyway.

Default Beware of ebay!

As most of you know ebay is full of knock off/counterfeit parts. Many of these sellers claim to be selling the actual brand name product. I recently purchased the Kuryakyn curved license plate mount for my Street Glide. Before I purchased I asked the seller to confirm that this was an actual Kuryakyn part, which he did. I got it and it is JUNK. Ebay will not stop the seller from selling this item. I am Still waiting for a refund. The seller name is domecarcam. Please Beware!

They used to say shipping from China. But now most of them are shipping the product from the US. Do not assume that you are getting quality. I got chrome foot board brackets and within 6 months the chrome was gone!

I have a mish-mash of OEM and aftermarket detachable parts on my '07 E-Glide. All fit very well on and off and I'm super happy with my setup, especially how quickly I can get them all on and off, including both my seats.

My only complaint is the OEM nylon bushings on the docking hardware are showing some signs of wear and slights deformation, which is causing some slight rattles with both my tour pak and passenger backrest/luggage rack under acceleration load and when I hit bumps in the road. Anyone have any recommendations concerning replacement? Should I go with the OEM style nylon bushings or go with the aftermarket style billet style bushings? I want to achieve as rock-solid feeling mount as possible. TIA!
