Dude, if you want a quiet bike, whats wrong with your stock mufflers? I didnt read the entire thread, so appoligies if its been mentioned.
I bought the bike with the rineharts on it. So no luck with that. Of course if I do end up with some stockers on it, I'll end up wanting better performing / sounding pipes. lol I'm really hoping a used exhaust comes along that will do the trick for me.
BTW. I tried using ear plugs yesterday for the first time. Man it was nice to be able to think while I was riding. Also nice to be clear headed after getting off the bike. I swear the loud pipes must be rattling my brain. ;-) I just hate using the plugs so that's not a solution by any means.

We were first alerted to the risk to our hearing while riding, back in the 1970s. Nothing to do with loud pipes, but all the other sources of noise around us while moving quickly through the air. We should all wear ear plugs while riding any distance, a message that is still not getting through. I've been wearing them for almost 40 years now. If you like hi-fi music, wear plugs.....

Watch EBay or Craigslist if you are looking for used slip-ons. I just sold my Bassani's on EBay two weeks ago.

Dude, go on fleabay and find a set of stock slipons that will fit, if you want it quiet and sound like a sewing machine, there ya go. People on fleabay are almost giving em away. Good luck with your search, Happy Holidays!!!
Ok I found a set of stock 07 headers and mufflers from a 2010 Street Glide. I'm in the process of installing them. I'll let you guys know what I think, hopefully by tomorrow. Thanks to all for all the suggestions and I'll be using them again I'm sure, when I want to get some more noise back. ;-)
