I am interested in pics and info on putting apehanger bars ,16 inch or less, on my FLHXS. I did a search, but I'm sure that will be among the first responses. The search did not get me the specifics I am looking for, like part numbers for the bars. Part numbers for the cables, and clutch hydraulic lines if that applies. Maybe even info like, things learned that were not in the instructions. Thanks in advance to the helpful responses.
I used HCC for my bars and have used Cyclesmith also. They're so many brands and style, it would be to many to list. Look around at other bike with apes you like and ask ?'s to what brand. Call the manufacture with the size you want and they'll till you what size and length of cables you need.
(10 or 12) inch bars are going to render the fairing mirror useless.
I also did Freedom Shield (8) inch, Dark grey windshield and had the inner fairing painted. Definitely worth the time and extra change. You only go around once....
