Nobody, I know! The wife bought me the turtle wax black box for Christmas and I have to say I'm a fan. Normally she knows not to buy anything for my bike but she did good with this one. So either she has a boy friend with a black bike that recommended it to her to get for me or she just got lucky and found something that works all by her self, should I be worried?
Either way the bike looks great, thought my paint was through because I've been using my normal detailers and spray waxes and lets not forget a little lemon pledge every so often. So either I had wax build up and this stuff cleaned it up or I just needed some good non spray style wax. So if your paint is looking a little dull and your closed in for the winter it might be something to try to get over your snowed in winter blues?
I have Black Box in the garage but have never used it. I'm kinda worried about it messing up the red and white pinstriping on my gas tank, since it's black wax.
I wax my carrot once in awhile, does that count in this wax thread? Sometimes I use Mobil 1 since it's slicker and leaves a nice sheen but sometimes I use Amsoil if I want to hear a ticking sound while waxing!!!!!

If she has a boy-toy whose suggesting things for her to buy for your bike, what's the down side???
Nothing, I was hoping to thank him. This stuff work pretty good, maybe he wants to get out and go riding. He would have to be as sick of my wife as I am, at least he knows his waxes!

Will it discolor it or mess it up?
My bike is black, red, silver and charcoal and it has not changed the colors after several applications. All those colors are under the clearcoat. Best I can tell the black pigment helps keep the black paint from reflecting the fine scratches back up.
