I'm ordering with razor pak from lshd....but what do I enter to ensure its keyed to match and where do I enter it. Its in my cart and I'm prepared to pay but it never asked me for any information about my bike....
Any locksmith can rekey a barrel lock and make a key, as well as tell you your key code, for a lot less than from Harley. My local charged me 7.50 to rekey one for me...
1. Check prices against Surdyke and Kutter now that lshd1 has been taken over. Their prices have gone up and shipping doesn't appear to be free anymore.
2. Kutter will ask you for your key code when ordering a saddlebag lock set. I'm sure it's the same with the other lock sets they sell.
3. If not, put your VIN key code number in the comment box if it's available. That is how Bill Sparks told me to do it when I ordered my lock set, but I didn't order it from them since their prices went up after the takeover.
Kutter will be a better price I called Anthony and you need either your key code or VIN #. Oh and by the way it won't come with the 2 screws you need to install it in your tour pak either !
