I am right about $1300 into it now, I would say it was a good investment for me. Especially since I am putting miles on the bike, 40k and counting.
I mess with my bike to much to have an ESP be worth wild for me, the standard warranty goes out the window soon after I buy a bike because I have to start modding. That and I don't use stock Harley tires, I like to try new non Harley wheels just for the heck of it. But if I had bought the ESP it would have paid for itself by now on my bike!

Coming up on 50,000 for my bike. Just retired this year myself!

I don't have stock Harley tires on my bike, I run Michelin Commander II's.
My rear tire was replaced under ESP at Sturgis when I found a nail. No issues, they had the MC II in stock. This was at Rapids City HD.

First tire was a factory HD Dunlop that I got a nail in on a trip, plugged it and rode home and then replaced under ESP.

I can relate to modding the bike, I normally start messing with things as soon as I get them. This bike I mainly stuck to comfort and safety upgrades. Seat, LED lights front and rear. Power commander, exhaust, shield, ect.
Only engine mod I did was the SE compensator, installed it myself since the dealer wouldn't commit to replacing it.

Contemplating changing cams and at this mileage, lifters, rods, cam tensioner shoes, ect. Need a little more ***** for passing at 80 mph.
