I have 107 with T-man 590 cams and stage II head work. I originally used Drago's true duals, but felt I was leaving some hp/tq on the table....which I was. Switched to Drago's Dragula 2:1and picked up 4hp and 6tq. Final numbers were 114hp and 119.5tq
I run the Dragula w/3.05 baffles on a 120, Out here on the west coast nobody know this exhaust and want to know what pipe it is. it sounds great..... everyone else is running the Thunderheader and obnoxiously loud.
I love my Dragos pipe, and I have the smallest one, as I have it on a stock 88. Just be warned, the black does not hold up long.
Agreed! Working on getting 2000+ degree paint on the muffler now and thinking about calling Frank back to get some chrome heat shields if I can't find an oven that will take the front heat shield (about 38" long).
Hows the sound level. I have a D&D fatcat and I love the pipe but its just a bit loud... Does anyone have any comments that have heard/used both?
I went from a D & D to the Dragula on my 95" and its deeper and lower sound not loud, but barks when you hit it. after my build its plain nasty but not to loud
I have a 11 road glide custom completly stock and have a couple questions about the dragula. On dragos website there are four diffent 2 into 1 exhausts (one being race) with four differnt prices and no real explanation on the differences. Anybody know what they are? Wheres the best place to buy? Also people who have them how do you like them? I wanted to get a fat cat but there alot more money and same with the thunder header after you factor in the heat shields. Id like to do intake and master tune next year. Any info out there
The regular 2-1 has an unequal length non-stepped header w/ 3.5" mufflers which can be had with 3 different baffles to suit your ears and/or build (or lack thereof). The Dragula has equal length stepped headers w/ a 4" muffler which can also be had w/ 3 different baffles. I have the Dragula w/ the middle sized baffle and love it. Great power and sound, but I can still enjoy the radio when cruising. Both made by Rush to Franks specs. Give Frank a call and leave a message. He will call you back and will talk about your scooter for as long as necessary. He's not a BSer or super hype sales type.
The dragula is hands down the best pipe i ever had.i got 8 more hp over a thunderheader with the dragula ... And the sound is amazing !!! Best pipe!!!!!!
Another vote for Frank. My Dragula sounds great and looks great. Like others have said quiet enough to allow stereo enjoyment when cruising, but it barks with authority when you get on it.
