dynageezer nailed it! I was introduced to the use of hydrogen peroxide by a couple of BMW riders I met at ThunderBeach a few years ago. It was love bug season and the stuff works!
Yes, a friend turned me on to this last spring. It is the only thing I use for cleaning and polishing my scoot and truck. It also works great around the house. I also found that it degreases while at the same time leaves behind a protective non- marring shine. My friend uses it on his boat also.
I got it last week I think and tryed it and it is good stuff puts a damn good shine on black and my sons black pearl, chrome, seat. Even use it on one of my cars and it does put a good shine on. We live in the country around hog pens so there is lots of dust always in the air and keep the bikes in the garage and I noticed that they don't collect as much dust. Say what you want to about it but it is good stuff. And as said earlier after you have used it several times don't seem like its takes as much next time you go over it. You still get bugs that stick but they come off easier. I ordered me another 32 oz refill so when we run out we got some more.
Take a water soaked towel and drape it over the bug covered parts for 5 minutes or so. This will take off all bug guts and its free, my favorite price.

Forget using Pledge!! Pledge is a petroleum based product and will attract dust just like any wax product. BUGSLIDE contains no petroleum; it is a polymer product that actually repels dust! I can't say enough good things about BUGSLIDE. I use it all over my bike, even on the leather. It's amazing stuff. Once you have it on, you can touch your bike and within seconds, your fingerprints just disappear! Bugs and road grime are easily removed. I've even sprayed it right on my engine and it instantly brings back the deep, black powder coat finish, just like when it was new. And you don't even have to wipe if off; it dries clear so you just spray it on! I've tried it in my house as well, and it worksjust like they advertize. BUGSLIDE is really amazing stuff. I will never buy another product for my bike. The best deal I have found is at www.customdesignit.com . They are great Harley people, very helpful! Try it, I guarantee you'll never use another product on your bike again.
1 post and youre not only aggressively promoting a product- but youve even supplied a link with your 'best deal'
also- in my many years of cleaning cars/bikes- ive never found a product that makes fingerprints 'disappear' (other than a wiping cloth!)
Do yourself a favor and get some BOM, well now I guess it's called Capt. Richards Best but it is the same stuff I have been using for years, the kit comes with a applicator cloth, microfiber cloth and a small travel bottle. One bottle of this stuff will last you a year (unless you bath in it).
