Default Road King extra toggle switch

Looking at the 2014 RKs today and noticed the extra toggle switch on the right side of the steering head. Sales guy wasn't sure if it had any connections already underneath, and I couldn't tell. Is this connected to +12v so I can wire up a handlebar GPS?

The switch is reserved for upcoming models, where clicking the switch will bring up a display in the speedo telling the owner to read the manual.

well, ok

the switch is for the acc plug which is found under the seat on most models, I believe for 14 it is under the left side cover
there are on most models 4 pins;
ground
run
brake
acc

many of us use the unused ( for US models) position light wire for gps etc, you'll find behind the headlight, here is a pic stolen by me from another forum member, it shows the position light wire.
orange white is + and on with the ignition, black is ground

Mike, thanks. Of course I don't have an owners manual prior to buying the bike.

yes! In fact, HD recommends the unused headlight wires for GPS. the install sheet for the inner fairing mount for the zumo 660/665 states to use these wires.

I use mine to fire my HID headlights after the bike is running. Very convenient to have there for whatever you choose.
