Default Need your help please

I have a 2011 Street Glide with a 96 cui engine, last year I had the big bore kit installed to make it a 103cui along with oil cooler, heavy clutch, ACR and Andrews 26H cam. To get a little more power out of it my dealer is suggesting the following. What is your experience with what he is suggesting and is the pricing out of line? A total of $2,700.00 after a 15% discount. Thanks!!

That is a lot of money for basically headwork but should help if your only option is SE parts? I think ya messed up on the 26 cams in 103 because they don't have the lift needed when doing the heads which is the reason they are recommending high ratio rockers. There shouldn't be any labor to install the intake as they have to do it anyway to replace heads. If ya go that way at least do thinner head gaskets. I would send your heads out for proper porting to match a bigger cam rather than buying SE heads and rockers. Same with the intake if ya really are going for big power. And there is always the crank scissoring issue with big power...

I agree with oldhippie on all of it.

so I wonder if they're charging 113 labor for the intake which they have off to begin with or is it for the installation of the high flow injectors which takes about 1 min per injector? LOL

so you've got;
567.37 in labor
378.25 in tune
1592.03 in parts

Man I wouldn't fool with this. I'd call Kirby @ Vee-Twin racing get your heads done. then find an indy to put this together for you if you're not capable and then have it tuned. You'll come out a lot cheaper for the same end result IMO.

Another route we be to go with fuel moto. They will package out all of those parts on exchange and you can vet a pretuned power commander from them or get a map if you already have one.

Here is the dyno sheet after I had the work done at Route 66 Harley. Probably spent too much but it was the easiest and quickest way to get it done. I am happy with the way it runs, pulls very hard!!

Thanks for taking the time to give your advice even though I didn't listen!!

Really, Thank You!!
