premium tour pak hinge problem

premium tour pak hinge problem

Trying to install new hinges everything is finished except holes on top part of hinge will not line up with top of tour pak when I leave metal tab off of hinge it seems to work is that tab a must or has any one else had problems with that bracket-tab defect maybe? Thanks for any help

the front latch is diff front the rear, make sure you have them in the right orientation
The hinges are identified by having the letter "F"ront or "R"ear cast into them.

I must have lucked out with the front/back thing. I don't remember seeing that in the instructions and it all went together perfectly. Hardest thing was getting the rivets out behind the rubber seal.
