Whatever works for you. I doesn't look stock to me & IMO, doesn't look all that safe. either. Just my 2 cents.

I have to wonder how well that set up would work in a panic stop or even slow speed maneuvers.

One adapts to the vehicle, once you become used to the different pedal, it becomes intuitive...no biggy...

Before I had to lift my foot to get it on the pedal. Now I can pivot it. Much easier and faster without worrying of stomping the pedal because I don't have to lift my foot to apply the brake. I think the stock brake pedal pad is way to big, can't use the whole foot board because of it.
