I love my highway pegs way to much to ditch the bars lol and yes its a cleaner look without em but I have seen those bars save a riders leg and personally paying for the extra damage on the bike if I go down is meaningless to me but saving a leg...... priceless
Some do, but I like having something to mount the lowers onto and hwy pegs are nice for stretching the legs. Just gotta be careful with the tippage factor...
I had ordered highway pegs to have mounted on the front crash bar of my 2014 SGS coming, I was surprised at the cost of the parts and labor
The more I thought about it the seating position is different than my SE electra glide or my road king so
I decided to have the crash bar removed as I think it looks much better with cleaner lines
