The Steble Nautilus is what is inside of a Minibeast. Anyhow, that is what I have been told. Had on on my old bike. I have one on back order right now via Amazon. There is a new dealer on Amazon that has them in stock. The place I have mine on backorder no longer is found on Amazon selling them. Makes me wonder what Custom Dynamics is doing to dealers who are ordering from them.
One thing to note about the mini beast. They have like 8 "models". Although there is a "air horn" version in there somewhere, the 128db version works great and is in every model also. The difference is only the cover, not the inside (beside the 2 horn types). Don't let the mini beast 1 being model 1 bother you. It is the same horn inside. It is just the smallest version they have on the outside.
That's the horn that's on my 14 Limited. I don't think it's as loud as the stock horn was on my 12 Limited. Don't waste your money on it.
I'm looking at the air horns. Trying to decided between the WoLo Bad boy from Kuryakyn part # 7742 that comes with the mounting bracket, wiring harness, and relay or a mini beast 1. The Kuryakyn is about half the cost of the Mini beast. Has anyone heard the WoLo and Mini Beast side by side? How much difference is there in sound?
I would like to replace the horn on my 09 ultra. I want something much louder than stock but something that is plug and play and fits under the stock horn cover. What are my options ? Thanks
If you don't have ABS get a horn hi lo set from Honda Goldwing 2010 and stick it in the empty ABS box.
Loudest damn horn I ever heard.
Made my Rivco air horn sound sick.
