Radio Quesiton? I need Help
I have a 2010 flhtk. I took out the stock radio and replaced it with one I got from a guy here. THe face is silver and not black, the fader says it is not available, the power amp in the back works but the one in the front fairing is got power and signal to the four front speakers but no volume. I am not sure why any suggestions would be great.
Are you guys saying if I add speakers to my bags to go along with the front fairing speakers that I have to have my stock HK radio flashed from the dealer?

Did you buy another Harmon Kardon? Sounds like you might have purchased one taken off a Street Glide. Does the silver face look like this?:
That's just a cover plate on the stock Harman Kardon.

Is it a huge process to have the dealership make this change, The dealership we have here in Torreon is somewhat questionable at best.
Then send it stateside to have it done. Maybe Iron Cross can activate the other two speakers. Might be worth a call to them anyway. If Iron Cross can do it, that's your ticket. Fast turnaround and they stand behind their work. They know that radio better than any dealership knows it. And while they have it, you can have some of the other neat mods accomplished. One and done.
