I have the HD split vision mirrors on both of my bikes. The little round convex insert gives you great vision to the rear, and no blind spots.

If you put the left one on the right side and the right one on the left wouldn't the writing be correct?

if you swap them and spin them yes it would but then the mirriors are going to be closer to the inside of the handlebars and you will block your own vision. i was thinking same thing at first
