No security system. I lock fork/ing., bags, helmet locked or with jacket in bag (or cable lock if there is no room in bags) if I'm not around. Add disc lock if it feels sketchy. Seldom leave helmet or gloves/jacket/chaps out, even for short stops. I know they will get it if they want it but I like the idea of keeping semi-honest folks, honest.

Overnight at the hotel I lock the bags and fork and use half cover. If somebody wants it they will take it anyway. Just keep your insurance up to date.

It depends on where the bike is. At home in the garage I usually have just the fork lock engaged. Same when I stop for food while riding. Longer stops like in the parking lot where I worked, I add a Kryptonite heavy duty cable lock to the rear wheel. When parked overnight, I try to loop the cable around a pole and then add a Xena alarm disk brake lock. I also have the security system, but no alarm. I had the Xena when I rode metrics and decided that it was almost as good as the Harley siren.

Why would you purposely not lock the forks? Just turn the ign one more position to the left.

No alarm, I always at least lock the ignition and forks, I have a rotor lock and Kryptonite cable in the bags if needed.

Lock everything plus XENA on the front rotor, and covered if overnight, no matter where I go.

Since watching this video I always lock the bike! I don't know about the 2014 ignition but my 13 Limited has the button. Watch to the end of the video...then go lock your bike...
