Covers to me make it look like your trying to hide something. No like!
You know... you are right. I asked the dealer to take them off before I signed the paper work. It appeared that the previous owner was "height challenged" so he wanted the covers. I took a look before I signed and the lids were flawless.
Anyway, thanks for the replies. I am 6'3 so I don't anticipate any mishaps with the boots but it is good to hear opinions. Bottom line I am not out any cash either way.
Just got this 09 Electra Glide Classic in December and have only been able to get her out a few times for about (300 miles total). Still thinking about the setup, but the bike came with leather saddle bag lid covers. I was going to add the standard Harley ones anyway but cant decide if I like the flames on the covers: So with or without flames? go ahead bash away!
OK, I've got a set of plan saddlebag covers that I'll trade you for your flamed ones. You've got to admit, they'll fit my scoot better than yours. Lol Pm me if interested.
My motto has always been: It is better to regret NOT doing something than regret DOING something. In other words,,,if you have any doubt, better NOT to do it.
