Just looking for a bulb that's brighter and more of a white color anyone have any suggestions. Not looking to add on a HID kit or spend 500+ dollars on LEDs just want to replace the stock bulbs. Thanks
I got Sylvania Silver Star Halogen Headlight bulb from Advanced Auto Parts works great and is considerably brighter than stock. Harley also offers a brighter light.
i put in an OSRAM h4 bulb. the stock bulb i removed was also an OSRAM, just lower wattage. the new one is brighter and less yellowy looking than stock, yet not completely white. cant remember the specific wattage off the top of my head, i will post it this evening after work.
i do know i got 2 of them off ebay or amazon for 15$ ish shipped and it did help out with being brighter and seeing a bit further high and low beams with a great light pattern. i also wanted to have a reliable bulb that wasnt gonna be popping on me. im happy with it
Edit: its a 80W/100W

I like the brightness of the Silverstar bulbs, but I was replacing them every year. Just a nuisance to have to pull the headlight assembly apart every year. I put the one in just lower in just below the Silverstar on the chart, and it has been in there about 3 years now. Sorry I don't remember the model or specs.
