I hope you passed on the gear drive cams, they don't play well with a slipped crank. It completely destroyed my motor. The stock setup is a little more forgiving.

I did the S&S 97 inch kit, are you doing the heads while it is apart? I left my bottom alone as well, but I have a 99 and it already has Timkin crank bearings in it, 99 to 02 came that way. I also did the hyd upgrade kit with SE 204 cams, love the way she runs now, 65k miles on her and running great.

Yes, the heads are being done. Glad you're enjoying your S&S. I will keep this thread updated.
