Moving to Valdosta,GA soon and was wondering if anyone near there has some advice or tips to share about dealers, laws, bike events, places to go, etc. I have about 2 months til I leave so wanting to get some info before we head out. Just looking to get the low down on things around there and what to look for after we get established there. I appreciate any info y'all can provide.
Lucky guy I grew up near there and loved it. I havent lived there in over 20 years so I cant help much. Coastal GA is a very pretty place. I actually lived outside Savannah for 10 years but traveled around Valdosta alot.

I'll tell you one thing you DON'T do and that is speed on that road outside Moody AFB...Man what a speed trap. Got a ticket going 5 over in a government vehicle one time...
Yeah...that'll take some getting back used to! Out here the cops pass you when your going 10 over! Back there, you get stopped for going 2-3 over in some areas. I'm getting medically retired so hopefully I won't be traveling by there often but my wife will be going there everyday so I'm sure she'll be re-educated quickly!
Not sure how far away it will be but Savanna is a cool town with great nightlife. Check out River Street. Me and the wife met this guy there. He was a lot of fun and smelled like rum
