Perfect advice, RDGSG!

How a bike looks, and how it performs and handles over the road are two VERY different perspectives. Ride them all, then choose one, with your brain, not your heart!

That's the best advice. You not being an owner of any of the bikes in question can be way more objective than someone that's a fan of only their bike. I've had them all and they are ALL great but the one that speaks to you is the always the best choice and you'll be happy and secure with your decision for many years to come. Best of luck and let us know what you decided to get.

My bias opinion is for the RK. Very versatile machine as many others have mentioned. Had a fxst before my RK..

Every weekend I do 100 to 300 mile ride wife comes with me once a month. I work a lot so I do not foresee the cross-country ride for 10 years. The bikes that I am conserving are a Switchback-Road King or a Electra Glide classic. I am Not new to riding but the Custom is the 1st H-D I have had with a electric start. I welcome your comments
I have a 12 miles commute to work and (weather permitting) I ride every day, and like many others have said you can't beat it on long hauls. Touring is my choice

Just be done and go to the top of the food chain. A shark! An Ultra to boot. You can strip off the extras but it costs more to add them later.

Get an EG Ultra. Add the detach bracket for the Tour Pak. You (or your gal) will not regret it for one second.
