1) Weather your doing the work or not get the service and parts manual. I've been a "hard-headed, dumb-***" on this for years! Because I don't do well with mechanical work so I thought this was wasted money. Wrong! Got mine for my 07 RKC today. The things this manual explains and photos. Wow! What power it gives you.
2) I'd call FM and talk to them. They have always taken the time to explain things, and answer questions.

I'm 51, been riding since I was a kid and I'm still learning lessons the hard way, but I'm learning. :-)

Have you checked with HD to see what the labor hours will be. At $75/hr here it adds up fast!

Andrews 57 cams are a good choice without headgaskets. Good luck.

+1...

Would be a real bitch to buy all the parts and then find out no one will install them for you...

No kidding. I wonder how many of these people are here illegally as they obviously cannot read. No comprende.

OP, good luck with this. As the Hippie said, some shops will want to sell you the parts they install so make sure you've covered this.

Do the work yourself. It's not hard at all, and you'll save some money plus gain a whole lot of satisfaction. If I can can do it so can you.

just so keen to show everyone how much they know rather give info that will help the fella out.

the only kit you would find if one was available would be a SE one as the wonderful moco must have the lion share of it all. you know freedom & all that.

Ok now Im not sure about the TW-555. Are they worth the extra price? Ive heard andrews are good and cheaper. Im installing the D&D 2-1 fatcats. Are there any cams that would work especially well with that exhaust? Can Anyone recommend Cams for these pipes?

Change the lifters and cam bearings with a cam change....Period no discussion on this. As others have stated a service manual is priceless and make sure the dealer will let you give them the parts to install. Remember their profit margin includes them selling you their parts.

And get the old parts back! That way you know what they changed.

I was planning on using the self adjusting push rods as to avoid more labor. The bike has about 13000mi on it. Please help! Is there a kit I could buy with everything included? Do I have to buy everything separate?
If you're having it done, then there isn't anything you will 'need'. Make sure they change the cam bearings with Timken's. Not all dealers will do it automatically. (Not sure if the 2012's have the Timken's). Ask for the SE tapered adjustable pushrods.

That's my .02.
