Default warning CVO owners

Just had dealer install the new 2014 rear saddle bag led lights. The ones that do tail/turn and brake lights. They even showed me how bright they were on a other bike. THEY DO NOT WORK as brake lights on cvo's. The only resin I wanted them was for more brake light. Now I'm out almost $400 and can't take them off or there will be holes in my bags.

Uh! Okay. However, I strongly suspect that installing a lead wire from the brake to the tail light to the saddle bag light would give you that function.

a smart boy could wire tham up to give brake and turn signal functions.

if you are dealing with a dealer- the 12 year old techs are not trained to know anything unless it is presented to them on a screen.

stop by the house, i'll sort it out in 1 hour - $60

( sorry, had to deal with dealer tech for a recall issue yesterday...I had to take it back...brakes need to be bled or they don't work too good- news to them)

Different part numbers for different model bike.
67800241 Ultra and limited and NOT FLHTKSE
67800242 same as above but smoked
67800448 Street Glide
67800450 Street Glide smoked
67800449 FLHR AND FLHTKSE and FLHRSE and canadian Street Glides
67800451 FLHR and FLTHKSE and FLHRSE and canadian SG smoked.

you sure you got the right part for your bike? Always verify part number before letting dealer put anything on your bike

..and I didn't think you had to drill holes... the description says "self adhesive". But I haven't seen the directions.

dealer said cvo has deferent wiring then the limited/street glide. They should have known and should have let me know. They teased me by showing me them on a street glide with the brake light( brite) Then $400 later opps no brake light. Just the reason I had them put on.
