Default brass ferrules for fairing cover loose?

3 of the brass ferrules on my street glide fairing that the outter-shell screws to are loose, when i try to tighten down the fairing, the screws end up just spinning the ferrule within its hole. whats the best way to get them to stick again?

You can also use Gorilla Glue to hold them in place if you don't have access to the replacement inserts.

I just tried that last night actually. Going to see how it holds up next time I take the fairing off. The previous owner did some real damage to the fasteners on this bike. My right side mirror is held on by a cheap flathead screw that goes through the center of the actual threaded shaft(which Is snapped in half)

I did forget to mention that the Gorilla Glue swells and expands while drying so take that into consideration when applying it. You don't want it getting into the threads.

I learned that lesson the hard way last year when I used gorilla glue to install ebay iso grips on my last bike, the damn glue-foam was exploding out through the rubber on the grips
