Well went out on the bike and went to start it back up after lunch and it just kept popping fuses. Tried putting a 25 amp fuse in and that popped. Disconnected the amp fuse and it just kept popping fuses. The fuel pump will kick on but when I hit that start button it pops the ignition fuse. It's still at the place I ate lunch at. Having a flat bed go and get it. Hopefully the dealer will trailer back and correct the electrical problem. I had no issues like this last year. Great way to start the riding season.
If it blew a 25 amp its a big short almost like the starter solenoid because thats the largest drawing circuit besides the stator when its running in full load mode. You can manually push the starter plunger in to start but to get you home but a short thag big is nothing to mess with.
Had it towed home. Luckily my friend owns a towing company. I already emailed the service manager and I am calling tomorrow to have them come and pick it up. I never had any issues with the electrical until I brought it to the dealer to get a new battery, added an amp and had a service done. Stinks - Not a good way to start the riding season..
Just did the Diagnostic test on the radio and it came back with Diag B2017 Fr Speaker. That throws that code because there is an amp on it.

Im having same issue.
I have a 2004 vrod. Ive been riding it everyday, ride it most of today. Parked it in the yard earlier and I went out to put in garage and nothing.... no lights no anything, then very slowly a red key appeared but wont turn over. Nothing works not even how. I turn it to accessory and the engine light, oil light come on but its in neutral and no neutral light. Battery is testing full, all fuses are good, swapped relays and it does the same exact thing. Button is turned to run, its in neutral and I do not have a key fob with this bike, never had one at all. Any suggestions?? The only thing I did before trying to start, was remove air box cover and clean air filter with air hose. The little sensor popped out of the lid so I popped it back in, but thats it..... Im so lost. This is my first Harley and Ive never had an issue with the ton of bikes Ive owned but everyone warned me if I got a Harley I better be ready to work on it. I really really hope thats not true. I love the bike but Im not gonna keep doin this for sure lol. Thanks for any help.
