Mexifornia. Todays english word of the day is "Chicken Wing" and when used in a sentence it goes like this. I sent my wife to buy lottery tickets, so "chicken wing" some money!
I read a quote today from Einstein where he said, "the only difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits". Hell, I may have even read it here, can't remember. If I did, the individual that quoted him MUST HAVE stumbled onto some of these posts in this thread before posting the quote. Then again, I don't really know, I was pretty busy trying find willing labor to harvest my crops today.......and not a one of those angels had white skin.
Weird thread. Four pages of posts to the OP and not a single reply back. Guess we've covered California enough. Besides, I don't need any more competition for Highway 1 going to Monterey.
I'm with Raceface, winterize wtf. Hell I don't winterize my boat let alone my steed. Born and raised in Ca, say what you want, having the ability to ride all year is priceless, period....
I have never had to have any of my bikes inspected here. I just got stationed back here after 4 years and I am a CA native. If you plan on trading a bike in that was purchased out of state, then the dealer will most likely send it to wholesale and screw you.
As far as riding goes, CA has AWESOME roads. Whether it be the coast line, the Sierras(HWY 49 through the foothills is GREAT) or some where in between, you cannot go wrong. I saw it earlier here about "scary looking rifles". I waited until I got stationed in CO, then bought my weapons, and brought then right back. CA can come and take them, right after I give them the 5.56mm first.
California is not all crazy retarded communists and liberals. That is only in San Francisco, Berkeley, LA and some of the bigger metro areas. And of course most of our elected slimeballs are fairly liberal.
The weather is awesome, year around riding for the most part. Great roads, freeways, and a lifetime of interesting places to ride and see. There is no better state to be a biker!
Yeah once you get into places like Sacramento and definitely more towards the Sierras, it becomes much more conservative. I am from Placerville and my wife and I are getting ready to buy a home up there. Really nice.
