I sure do dig the retro look the amber gives your bike however those light suck bigtime in output. I ran some years ago. I have been using some that have the H-3 bulb in them and they really are a huge improvement on light output for nite riding. I used a tinted protective film in yellow on them too. Have never found the Amber close enough to what you have.
I have received a lot of feedback from running the ambers and the yellows that it makes the bike stand out more in traffic and that is also what I was after.
I think just having something a little different makes it stand out and draws attention of the drivers which is good.
Nothing looks as cool as the old Amber lights sitting still.
Nice..........I dig the retro look.......you don't see that much so it really stands out.
here is how I did my 09 RKC and added the tri-bar for a little extra retro........ as one posted about night riding not good, these are bright at night and day so cages see ya coming which is a good thing!
Wanted to do the ambers on my passing lamps. Ordered the same bulbs and while I was waiting for them to come, I came across another method. Using Krylon stained glass yellow spray
