Considering a Power Vision From Fuel Moto, would you change out the stock header? Was thinking of going with V&H Dual Dresser exhaust header to go with the V&H Monster Round slip-ons I already have installed. Looking for some advise. Thank in advance.
I'm assuming you're talking about your sig pic bike (2013 Road King FLHR). I have a '12 Road King FLHR with a V&H Power Dual header. I like the look and the performance. It sounds good with Rinehart 4" slip ons.
What ever you do, get rid of the catalytic converter. It eats power and it muffles the sound.
Going to a true dual system will lose you power. Gutting the cat will increase your noise, lose some heat, and lose some power. A head pipe like the Jackpot will give you a moderate increase in peak power, give you a better curve under the peak, cool things off, and make the bike louder.
If you want to stick with V&H, you're better off with the Power Duals as they retain the 2:1:2 setup.
The way your question is worded you sound like you are wondering about getting an exhaust upgrade because you want a power vision. You have it backwards. You get a power vision because you want to get an exhaust or another upgrade.
