biggest thing i noticed with it is the rain doesn't travel up the front side of the tank and into my eyes... worth it just for that..

unless you don't ride in the rain.

I have one on my 11 RKC, I think it helps. I also have the fork deflectors.

My wife bought me one and had no idea where it went. Looks good as I hated those open threaded holes on the clamps. Not sure if it works but it looks good.

I believe it does help some - -but you have to take into account how you sit, your helmet shape, the height of the windshield etc etc etc,

As far as heat, I also think it helps to direct air more to the motor
