be careful with those riser covers, they won't all fit. i wanted to put one of the later ones (with the removeable cover for adjusting handlebars) on my 07 road king custom and it would not fit. but i was able to replace the one that's attached to the duckbill to an earlier version that fit just fine.
This area of the bike has always bothered me on my Road King.
Has anyone found a good replacement insert for this plastic piece?
If not, I might machine an aluminum insert and have it engraved/etched with Road King like the 2014s
Looking for any thoughts or ideas?
Thanks!
I was wondering if anyone makes one like that with "Road King" or "Harley Davidson" or something else written into it. I scratched mine taking it off for handlebars and likely will have it painted black to match a few other black things up front but the new RK's say "Road King" on them with black background and I think they look pretty cool. Can't get the squeeler to answer their Parts phone to inquire on if the newer ones fit older models (2013) and cost. But I'll keep trying...
