Do a search in the "chat" section for boots. There have been several threads through the years, to which I always added:

https://www.cruiserworks.com/

They are a company that definitely have had some ups and downs, including a run of bad soles that pretty much put them out of business, until another company bought them out. They are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned, and one of the few who make a narrow boot (the Tour) which I need.

Price went way up under new ownership. My Tour boots cost me $239. They are now $325. Ride all day in the rain and keep my feet dry.

I have been wearing a pair of Wolverine slip on work boots, they are pretty comfortable, have a lice soft grippy sole and are good to take a mile or two walk on a trail. Not too spendy either.

I have some Herman Survivors and they are only good for riding and suck to walk in.

Next time I am going to either have some custom made or look hard at the Bates and Red Wing offerings.

i wore primarily lace up logger boots for over 20 years- they just died...the cost to resole them( again) was more than they were worth.

i have switched to back ups..HD branded H&H harness style pull ons that my boss gave me 20 years ago..they are just breaking in and good and comfy.

treat 'em with water proofing and that keeps them supple too.

Thanks for the reminder on them !! I MUST save the name.

My Dad has had great comfort and life from the 2 pairs of Harley brand boots he has. 9 years and counting on one pair and 5 one the other. Oddly enough his wear area it the toes of the boot, they get sandblasted because he rides so much on secondary roads.
I wish I had the same problem, riding so much you get sandblasted boot toes !!
