I have LRS on both bikes -- and I feel they are a good choice -- one bike has the Ultra designed for 2 up riding and my wife noticed the reduction of wind after I put it on.

I had initially thought about Fast Aire -- but they never returned my email questions or answered the phone when I called

6'2" here and went with a 12" LRS Ultra. Love it.

One thing you want to check is your seat ok....I know, this is a windshield thread!! But if you should change seats, guess what, you effect the windshield height. Then you are going through this exercise again. Get everything that you want to change done, then do the windshield. If everything else is ok....my vote is for Klock Werks, probably at least a 8.5

+1 on the Fast Aire "Aero" windshields. Jim Blackmon is a stand-up guy and speaking with him really helped me with my decision.

I'm 6'1", with a long torso and a Sundowner seat. My choice was the "Aero" 8" recurve windshield in dark gray. I very pleased with the quality and pricing and Jim got it here post haste! I can still see over the windshield, but I no longer get the turbulence that I got with the 4" flat, stock windshield.

I'm 6'2" and have an LRS Ultra 7" on a '14 SGS. I bought it primarily for cold weather riding and it works great for me. Like mentioned a few posts back, I had my stock seat reworked which put me a little lower.

6'1" with a 32" inseam. I've got a 6" Fast Aire Aero recurve on my 2012 SG. The wind from over the top goes over my helmet by a couple of inches. Any buffeting is now a result of turbulence from underneath the fairing.
