[QUOTE=oakmossy;12614440]I think your low fuel record with stand for a while.
I THINK THE RECORD HAS BEEN BROKEN!!
YB
DISCAIMER: NO, This is not a normal practice, I left my house with with like 11 miles left after riding the day before all day long, and KNOWING that I had 11 miles left, I would get gas in the morning. The gas station is only 3 miles away from my house, but When I got there it was on low!!!!!
I originally posted this 2 years ago for everyone to know how much the 6 gallon tank actually held.
Never run my tank to empty, i am into riding not walking. Out west, stations are not as close together as back east.
I usually stop between 125 and 150 miles. Need to take a break and never worry about fuel. If needed i can go longer but why chance it?
Been on enough rides where im pushing, its the middle of nowhere and the middle of the night looking for a random station where the pumps are on to get fuel.
I have run low, got the warnings, went on, filled up - never held over 5.5 gal.
I was beginning to wonder if anybody had put 6 in their tank.
That's cool, I'll try not to push 5.5 again...
