I would have the brakes bled by the dealer before I rode the bike.

You said the accident "took out" the brake lines. Did they puncture or just get crushed? If they did get punctured you do not know if air got into the abs module and the fluid has moisture contamination for sure.

It's the brakes..... Stay on the side of caution..... There is another thread where a guy in a hurry to ride the bike with the new bars had his front brake lock up for some reason..... Yes I know it's a different situation but yet it's not.......
