If you want to address your issue they only way to to it is to get custom boots made specifically for your feet. They will be expensive but your feet will like you again.
And with good customs(read Wescos) you will never buy another boot again

Probably not an option for most, but when I was in Korea I had some custom made for me to my specs. These boots have been resoled 3 times now and still look great. The great thing about them other than exactly how I wanted them to look is they measured every aspect of my foot. I am going to hate it if something ever happens to them, just hate it!

+1 on Doc Martin's, I wear them as my work boots and also have a pair as my riding boots, very comfy and at around $100 bucks they are just hard to beat. Lots of good options mentioned, but for me its Doc's..

Years ago I tried a pair of Original Swat boots based on the recommendation of a cop buddy. I am now on my 5th pair. They feel like you're wearing sneakers but are really supportive. Lots of different features available.

I've been wearing Carolina engineer's boots for about 30 years. Bought a new pair recently to replace the originals and they are still as good as ever. Still USA made.
Stood around over the years at a lot of bike rallies and shows all weekend without problems. When I go touring I don't take any other footwear with me. The Carolinas are it for the duration, with no problems.

These things work well, but do require a little more room in a boot. I bring them with me when I buy shoes, and get the appropriate size for using them. (I typically need 1/2 size bigger then normal, but not all the time)

That being said, I have found a combo of Bates 8" gore tex boots (laces and zipper on the side) with these insoles are a perfect match for me.
Serious try the Dr. Scholls Custom insoles, I had pulled the tendon in my foot and the pain was crazy in my heel and toes. Dr says try these or I can get a special order and cost your insurance a bunch on money. They work great. I ride with either my Ariat or my USA made steel toe Redwings. I had a pair of China made engineer boots I just gave away, looking for USA made boot. Check out Russell Moccasin very good boot.

Glad you had luck with Carolina boots. My experience was not great with these. I had a pair for about 20 years and they never felt like the broke in properly. My feet would get that burn feeling after standing for more than an hour. I'm in a new pair of Red Wing engineer's (968 US model, not import) and I can already feel that these will be awesome in a few months.

I work for Redwing shoe company, and we make plenty of boots that while not specifically marketed as motorcycle footwear, are very suitable. Pop into a nearby Redwing store. They will very carefully measure your foot. Most of our boots can take orthotic footbeds, your foot analysis will indicate if that would be of benefit to you.
Can you get us a discount?
