The Andrews 26 and 255 are pretty similar and if I was to do it again I would go a bi stronger like the Andrews 48 little more oomph...needless to say the 255 will give you noticeable increase in low end grunt...passing power will increase....
I'm running the TW-222's in the same engine.
The SE255 will more then likely give you hot start issues and possible tuning issues without the right tuner (unit & person).
Yes you can find them for $100 but look at the big picture. Why do so many CVO owners yank them out?
I didn't listen to my own advice at first and had to go into the cam chest twice within two months.
The Woods or Andrews would serve you well.
No one has mentioned the Andrews 54H cams and maybe for good reason. They are mostly for the higher compression 103's, But I love them. I changed my heads to 103's and had them ported and polished/ ACR installed. I used my stock lifters and push rods, and TTS tuner. The SERT is also a great turner. You talk about wake up the 96" "wow" !!!!!! I went from 72hp to 96hp from 80tq to 96lb tq. The tq was held back because of the big CT I have on the rear. My tuner said probably around 105tq with MT. This was all done at 35,000 miles. I did change the cam bearings, the cam shoes were fine. I already had the Hayden chain tensioner. I now have 55,000 miles on here and two trips the Daytona w/o any probs at all. And still get around 40 mpg.
