some of us use the road king signal bar (not the road king classic- the regular road king, the nice one).

this is a 2010 RK signal bar on my 09 FLHTC, it has plate leds integrated, solid red lens

Kury makes a curved one for the same location, its listed as 'custom' which means you have to drill your fender, but it looks great

They make a curved plate holder that goes under the signal bar with no drilling. I'm using one with a '09 RK bar.

I have the Softbrake mount. You need to change the tail light lens so the white light shines down on the plate.

I combined it with a Radiantz LED licence plate bracket.

Below that is a suggestion of what to do to cover the holes you leave behind: Belt buckle!

Looks good - is that the stock RKC signal bar or is it the Harley bullet style kit? I have the kit on my 06 RK and wondering if the softbrake bracket will work with it.

You can mount it billboard style or lay-down.
