HD sells a relocation kit that puts the plate under the tailight. It's the SG set-up. $$$
Kuryaken makes one that looks pretty much the same for about half the HD version. Lights up the plate, comes with it's own turn signals......I've been looking at that one myself.
I removed mine and that ugly bar that it goes on. Bought some frame covers and a curved plate holderout of DK catalogue. Took off the little emblem on the bottom of the fender (it's just stuck on), drilled out the the bolt through the fender and internal fender brace (the wife freaked out when she saw me with the drill) and bolted the licence plate bracket through the fender and fender brace. Took all of thirty minutes.
i have the stock setup from my 07 sg that i will sell if you are interested i removed everything off the rear fender, and converted my tribar light into a brake light. so i can sell ya the blinker bar and the plate mount.
