so if you win something you have to pay income tax on that as well the tag and tax I did not know that don't get me wrong I wouldn't mind having tha problem
Yeah, Uncle Sam and the states get you coming and going. It's wild.
I have a Street Glide and an Ultra Classic. Ones got cams and some other work, the other is stock except exhaust. What ever mood I am in, I jump on that bike.
Do not know if you have ridden the new frame and suspension. Maybe
if you rent a SG, dealers usually rent new bikes, see if you like the new style bike or not. Might help with your decision.
Cool, but unless you cannot afford two, set the Street Glide up as your touring bike and set the Road King up as a cruiser.
There are a lot of people that would like to have your problem. For one, you probably have the Road King set up just how you like it and it is a pain to remove all the mods even if they would fit the Street Glide. That said, the Street Glide is just waiting to be set up the way you want it.
My experience is that I have a ride different bikes depending on my mood and the trip. But if I only had one bike, I'd use that for everything. It could be either a Road King or a Street Glide. My bikes tend to vary a bit more, a sporty, a Bonnie, and a Road King.
If one bike will do it all for you, pick the best one and sell the other.

My Ultra is set up as my long haul touring bike. I also ride this bike 80% of the time and put 5,000 - 6,000 miles on it a year. Its my go to bike.
My RGC is my toy. I put about 1,000 miles on it a year. Its cool and fun and set up to be that way. It's the bike I take to bike night. What ever I have done to the Ultra, I do the opposte or different to the RGC.
Have an 08 RK that I used for our main ride for over 55,000 miles but in 2012 bought a Limited to go longer distances and soloed out the RK with a foot clutch and side shift. I ride the RK around home and local trips and use the Limited for weekends and longer trips, have over 22,000 on it and love the fun ride of the RK and the comfort of the Limited without switching the RK back & forth anymore !
