there is an app for Android "V-Twin Reference" that has lots of info on how to do stuff on bikes, pin reset, enter pin, find pin, diagnostics codes and much more. Very handy. May have it for I Phone now.
The OP reported he does not have a FOB.
Without an active FOB, you are not going to reset or read any security pin.
Most of us don't believe he actually has a factory security system installed, since he was able to start the bike and ride away to begin with.
Your not going to do that with the factory security system and a missing FOB.
That would explain why they don't shut off after 30 - 45 seconds.
The hazards would keep running until you either shut them off, pulled the fuse, or the battery died.
Even though the factory security system uses the turn signals when the bike is disturbed, it does so in an alternating pattern (left, right, left, right, left, right), not both at the same time.
It would also stop flashing after 30 - 45 seconds.
