Sorry for thread hijack! SHIELDS ARE SOLD
I have 3 used windshields, 1 LRS 10" medium tint, 1 LRS 9" dark tint, these have the recurve top and 1 9" Memphis Shade light tint, this is straight with no recurve. All 3 shields were run with single pouch windshield bag so have scuff marks from bag corners, other than those scuffs very good condition.
These were run on my 2009 Ultra which I've sold so have no use for them. Cheap way to check out different shield heights.
$35.00 for all three shipped lower US PM me for more info

Reason: spelling sold items
Give Long Ride Shields a shot. Once you figure out what height you need, shoot them an email and see if the have any slightly blemished shields in what you are looking for. I got a sweet deal on a dark tint 7" ultra for my Street Glide. I had to look real hard to see the scratch in it, and with my windshield bag on, unless you know where to look, you cannot see it. Shipping from them (Vegas IIRC), was super fast also.
Still have some buffeting, but like others say, its coming from the bottom and I think my next investment is in the fork deflectors.
I ride a 2011 Triumph Storm that has a Batwing aftermarket fairing on it that uses the same windshields as a normal Harley Davidson batwing fairing.
I have a Klock Werks 6.5" Dark Smoke Flare windshield on it and LOVE it!
I am 5'9 and I wear a full faced icon helmet when I ride and the wind is just getting over the top of my helmet.
I love how the windshield looks and LOVE how it performs. The wind goes up and over me as well as on the side, there is a nice pocket around me.
I have ridden in Sturgis the last two years with it and loved the long ride on the interstates with it! I have put on over 2,000 miles behind this windshield. Below is a picture of me riding the bike.
Let me know if you have any questions, love the windshields!

Reason: Spelling.
