Default Handlebar Speakers?

I am looking for a small set of speakers for my 2001 Road King Classic ... Specifically some speakers that are as small as possible. I dont like the look of the speakers on the handlebars ... So I was thinking about trying to mount something on the crash guard ... or mounting someplace that isnt going to look bad on the bike.

Anyone have an suggestions on speakers or on mounting?

p.s. I currently have the Boom Amp system mounted to the windshield ... I do NOT like the way the bike looks with the windshield ... So I am trying to find speakers that I can use when the windshield isnt on the bike ... I would like to try to wire them into the Boom Amp.

I'm in the same boat but have made a decision! Just haven't pulled the trigger yet. My plan is to purchase the black 2 1/2in cycle sounds handle bar speakers as well as the new cycle sounds boom cans. The boom cans have amps built in to them and are designed to mount to the crash bar. They're 5 1/2in and pump out 200 watts. The small 2 1/2in pump out 150 watts. You can run either set seperatly or run them together for some serious sound. Everyone I know who has them loves em. Cycle Sounds sells handle bar speakers in 2in, 2 1/2, and 3in.
You may also wanna check out uniq cycle sounds. They make crash bar speakers too

I bought Cycles Sound. Amp blew in the first hour of use. They would not replace. I had to buy a new amp just to sell the system. Buyer beware.

Good info...I was about to pull the trigger on 2 cycle sounds units with the rockerbox for mine and the wife's bikes. Uniq Cycle 400 watt unit looks nice. I currently have Rumble Roads. Basically the same thing but nowhere near as loud. They are the same size as the passing lamps
Pics in my albums.

My wife has this http://www.bossaudio.com/marine/mari...s-audio-mc400/ on her RK. Works good. Needs a filter for the MP3 input to help cancel the noise.
