if I remember right 2000 era touring bikes where known for breaking the exhaust pipe to the rear head...I would check that first...I am quite sure the motor is fine and you just have a exhaust leak...

Hi all,

I have a 99 RKC and my rear y exhaust pipe split. I took it off the bike and a welder made it better than new............goldie

PS: The tab at the rear pipe was broken as well
